Patek Philippe Ref. 5146 Annual Calendar

The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar was chosen "Watch of the Year" by the Swiss horological magazine Montres Passion.

Patented in 1996, The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Ref. 5146J (pictured above) features date, day of the week and month; moon phases and power reserve indication. It knows which month has 30 and 31 days: it automatically displays the correct date, month and day of the week.

The Patek Philippe Ref. 5146G (pictured above) in 18Kt white gold comes in either a cream or slate dial with gold applied hour markers and numerals. The Ref. 5146 comes in a contemporary case size of 39mm. The Patek Philippe Ref. 5146 is water resistant to 30 meters.

The Patek Philippe Ref. 5146R (pictured above) is the latest edition to the Annual Calendar collection. Patek Philippe also offers the Ref. 5146 in platinum.

The Patek Philippe 5146 has a sapphire crystal back which displays the Caliber 315 S IRM QA LU self-winding movement. This fine movement is made up of 225 individual parts and is powered by a central 21Kt gold rotor which gives it an extremely high degree of efficiency.

The Patek Philippe 5146 comes on a alligator strap with fold-over clasp.

For those who would prefer the Annual Calendar on the "Wave bracelet" there is Ref. 5146/1 J. This watch is also available in 18Kt white gold.

Basel World 2009: Patek Philippe Ref. 5960R Chronograph with Annual Calendar

The Patek Philippe Ref. 5960 launched 2006, is the first self-winding chronograph movement to be entirely designed and manufactured by Patek Philippe. To compliment this exceptional movement, the Annual Calendar (patented by Patek Philippe in 1996) has also been added. Originally only available in platinum (Ref. 5960P), Patek Philippe has introduced it in 18Kt rose gold (Ref. 5960R pictured above) this past spring at the 2009 Basel Fair in Switzerland.

The new rose gold case combined with the silvery two-tone satin-finished dial give the watch a soft retro touch. The Patek Philippe Ref. 596R has a subtle design that combines modern classicism with sporting elegance.

The Patek Philippe Ref. 5960R features the caliber CH-28-520 IRM QA 24H complicated self-winding movement that controls the mono-counter chronograph function, a power reserve indicator, and the annual calendar. This timepiece automatically displays the month, day, and exact date for months with 30 and 31 days, and only needs to be adjusted once a year at the end of February. Another distinctive feature of the Patek Philippe Ref.5960R is it's innovative display mode: the hours and minute timers are grouped together in one large "mono-counter" for quick and easy reading of measured time.

The original Ref. 5960P (shown above) and the new Ref. 5960R utilize a sapphire crystal back to showcase this complicated watch movement. This timepiece is a true masterpiece.

The Patek Philippe Gondolo

The Patek Philippe Gondolo collection is a tribute to the wonderful Art Deco period. The Gondolo came from the "Chronometro Gondolo" watches that were manufactured by Patek Philippe for the renowned Brazilian retailer Gondolo & Labouriau between the years 1902 and 1930.

The Patek Philippe Gondolo Ref. 5098P and the Ref. 5124J both contain the Caliber 25-21 REC movement. This fine watch movement is manually wound and is greatly appreciated by aficionados of traditional watchmaking. These watches feature a tonneau shaped case and a sapphire crystal back which reveals the beauty of the movement.

The Patek Philippe 5067A Ladies Aquanaut Luce

The Ladies Aquanaut Luce reference 5067A is Patek Philippe's answer to casual elegance and a modern laid-back lifestyle. The watch was introduced in 1997 but has recently been updated. The watch is offered in all steel with a diamond bezel. The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce comes in three colors: Mysterious Black, Pure White and new Honey Beige. The Ladies Aquanaut Ref. 5067A comes on a "Tropical" composite strap with a fold-over clasp. The uniquely styled Ladies Aquanaut is powered by a Caliber E 23 S C quartz movement. The watch has a screw down crown and is water resistant to 120 meters. Patek recently introduced a bracelet version of the Ladies Aquanaut Luce reference 5087/1A at 2009 Basel World. The Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5712/1A

The Patek Nautilus Collection was originally introduced in 1976. Patek Philippe was looking for a strong design and an inspiration soon emerged: The universal shape of a porthole found on virtually all maritime vessels. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, Patek Philippe created the New Nautilus Collection and introduced it at the Basel world in 2006. One of the most popular models in the new Nautilus Collection is the Ref. 5712/1A in all steel featuring a number of complications. 

Besides displaying the hours and minutes, it has a subsidiary seconds dial, a power reserve indicator and a analog date at 7 o'clock with an integrated moon-phase display.
